Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Earbuds S in India, shortly after the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2.
Priced at Rs. 1,799, the Redmi Earbuds S is an affordable pair of true wireless headphones that seek to make technology and form factor accessible to the masses.
The headphones are currently available in a single black color option and feature Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity.
The Redmi Earbuds S headphones will go on sale for the first time on May 27, that is, tomorrow at 12 p.m. (noon), and will be available to shop at Amazon India, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and Mi Studio stores.

Essentially, the Indian version of the Redmi AirDots S that launched in China in April, the Redmi Earbuds S is priced slightly higher than the global version that costs CNY 100 (about Rs. 1,100).
True wireless headphones are more affordable than the recently released Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 sold for Rs. 4,499.

However, the headphones seem to offer the basics of true wireless stereo sound, allowing inexpensive users access to a form factor that is generally priced at at least Rs. 4,000 or more.
The headphones come with a total of three pairs of silicone tips for a customizable fit.

Features, Specifications of Redmi Earbuds S :

Redmi Earbuds S uses 7.2mm drivers and is IPX4 rated for water resistance.
The headphones weigh just 4.1g each, making them one of the lightest true wireless headphones available today.
In terms of codec compatibility, Redmi Earbuds S headphones use the SBC codec and also support a low latency mode which is useful when playing on a smartphone.
The headphones have a battery life of four hours per charge; When combined with additional charges provided by the charging case, up to 12 hours of use can be expected.

Gaming users will also benefit from a low latency mode on the Redmi Airdots S, which will allow smoother sound transmission from the smartphone to the headphones with reduced delay.
Additionally, there is support for voice assistants, ambient noise reduction via the Realtek RTL8763BFR Bluetooth chip, and the ability to use any one of the headphones individually without separately pairing each Redmi Earbuds S headset.

Redmi says the new Earbuds are "designed to fit snugly in the ear canal, ensuring long hours of use and minimal hearing fatigue."
The headphone shell has a matte black finish.

Redmi states that "dedicated game mode (low latency mode) brings class-leading wireless latency to 122 ms, reducing audio lag while playing games."

2– Redmi Earbuds S comes with support for Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. 7.2mm drivers and are among the lightest true wireless headphones available. The headphones weigh 4.1g to be specific.

3– The Redmi Earbuds S comes with an IPX4 rating for water resistance support, which means the buds can survive the rain and sweat during your daily workout.

4– The Redmi Earbuds are expected to last up to 12 hours on a single charge. The company says: "Redmi Earbuds S is capable of providing 12 hours of use with the charging case."

5– The Redmi Earbuds S comes with support for voice assistants and a Realtek RTL8763BFR Bluetooth chip that reduces ambient noise. To access the voice assistant, users will only have to double-click the tip of the headphones.
